Busy mornings kill complicated recipes. This is a 10–15 minute high-protein breakfast you can make half-asleep — no blender theatrics required.
Why protein at breakfast helps
A higher-protein breakfast tends to keep you fuller longer than toast-and-jam. That makes it easier to stick to training and avoid the 10am snack spiral. This isn’t medical advice — just a practical pattern that works for a lot of busy people.
The base bowl (about 30–40g protein)
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (nonfat or 2%)
- 1 scoop whey or plant protein (optional if yogurt is already high-protein)
- 1/2 cup berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
- 1 tbsp chia or ground flax
- Pinch of cinnamon + salt
Stir yogurt + protein until smooth. Top with berries, nut butter, seeds, cinnamon. Eat.
Swap ideas
- No dairy: soy yogurt + plant protein
- More carbs (training day): add banana or 1/3 cup granola
- Savory mood: skip this bowl and do 3 eggs + leftover veggies in a pan instead

Bottom line
If you only “meal prep” one thing this week, prep yogurt bases in jars the night before. Future-you will actually eat breakfast.
